Let's leave history and death and other people's stories behind and bring our minds into the current day. What better place to do that than LIBERTY.
I love Liberty. There's no other store like it. It's like walking through a medieval mall because on each floor there are separate rooms of goodies. George was amazed by the beautiful silk £300 scarves. I was drooling over the housewares and fabrics, till I stumbled on the yarn room.

We just wanted to be Londoners today so we walked the shopping streets, Regent, Oxford. We walked to Covent Garden and had lunch at an outside cafe. I finally found salad! Then we explored the market with its vendors selling old stuff, thats where I got the medieval token from the Thames. Dinner was at Bill's in Soho, a stop to see our painted Italian gelato lady, then back for a quiet evening of TV.
I was knitting and drinking tea, eating Digestives, and G had a bottle of Prosecco and Oreos. From the window we watched the rain, the sun, then rain again, and people going home from work. It might seem like nothing but the day passed quickly. Our hotel people always open the door, say hello and welcome us back. London feels like home.
Rain......
Sun .......
Rain again .......
